Nationwide Children’s Hospital

Description

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit freestanding pediatric health care networks providing wellness, preventive, diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitative care for infants, children and adolescents, as well as adult patients with congenital disease. The Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s is one of the Top 10 National Institutes of Health-funded freestanding pediatric research facilities. By connecting cutting-edge research with family-centered patient care, the Neuro-Oncology Program at Nationwide Children’s is an international destination for children, adolescents and young adults with brain and spinal cord malignancies. Each year, families travel from around the nation and around the globe to access life-saving treatments – many unavailable anywhere else. Nationwide Children’s remains true to the original mission since its founding in 1892 of providing care regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
